Dr. Michael Orchekowski
Dr. Mike joined Dr. T.K. Scheer in 1990 and together started Lakeshore Dental in 1991. He is a graduate of Roncalli High School in Manitowoc, and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1988.

Dr. Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking, and travel adventures with his wife, Deanna, and their family.
Dr. Lauren Preston
Dr. Lauren Preston was born and raised in Valders, Wisconsin graduating from Valders High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Preston then went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2021. After graduating dental school, she wanted to come back to the area to be able to serve her community.
Dr. Preston’s goal is to be able to develop long lasting relationships with all of her patients and provide them with exceptional dental care. When Dr. Preston is not practicing dentistry, she is usually hunting or fishing with her husband Jake, or hiking with their black lab, Kenai.
Our hygiene team’s focus is on ensuring the long-term oral health of our patients. Specifically, each of our hygienists is adept at assessing patients’ oral health conditions, performing oral cancer screenings as well as head and neck inspections, treating periodontal disease, and administering local anesthetics.
Our dental hygienists make it a priority to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and treatment techniques and providing patients with guidance on oral health care, prevention and nutrition. Each member of our hygiene team prides herself on getting to know her patients and providing dental care on an individual basis.
Randi – RDH
After 34 years at Lakeshore Dental, Randi remains passionate about dentistry and helping multigenerational families maintain their healthy smiles. She enjoys getting to know patients, discussing treatment recommendations and answering questions related to oral health. When she’s not at the office, she is outdoors gardening, paddling, or welding fanciful critters from recycled garden tools.
Gail – RDH
Gail joined Lakeshore Dental as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2006. She has been in the profession providing patient care for over 40 years. Gail’s hobbies include being outdoors, walking, gardening and most importantly spending time with her family.
Amy – RDH
Amy has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1989 and with Lakeshore Dental since 1999. She has been in the dental field for this long because of the many interesting patients and families she has met through the years and genuinely enjoys being part of their dental health experience. Amy’s interests include vacationing, fishing, and gardening. Most importantly, she enjoys spending time with my two adult children, two grandchildren, and many friends.
Julie – RDH
Julie joined Lakeshore Dental in October of 2001. She previously worked with a pediatric and general dentist in Green Bay. Her joy for hygiene stems from her desire to help, inform, and educate her patients on oral health and care. When not at Lakeshore Dental, Julie is busy in her garden and helping her husband and their two teenage sons on their beef farm.
Kathy — RDH
Kathy has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2003. Through her experience, she enjoys educating patients on the whole-body health connection. She enjoys working with all age populations, especially seniors and dependent individuals. Kathy also teaches part-time at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College for the dental hygiene and dental assisting programs. When she is not at work, Kathy loves spending time with her four daughters and husband on their hobby farm.
Molly started with Lakeshore Dental through the youth apprenticeship program with Valders High School in January 2022. She has been the dental hygienist assistant to all 5 of our hygienists. Molly started working towards her Registered Dental Hygienist degree this fall at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
Dental Assistant Team
The Dental Assistants at Lakeshore Dental offer comprehensive dental care and superior customer service to each and every patient. Their goal is to make every patient feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visit.
For over 20 years, Denise has been part of the Lakeshore Dental team as a dental assistant. She has an infectious laugh that can be heard throughout the office as she makes everyone feel comfortable during their dental visit. She loves the outdoors, gardening, walking, and spending time with family!
Tracie has been in the dental field for 30 years, joining Lakeshore Dental in 2002. She is a dental assistant to Dr. Mike and Dr. Preston. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to sporting events, gardening, and walking.
Julie joined Lakeshore Dental in March 2020. She earned her dental assistant certificate from Lakeshore Technical College and has been a dental assistant for the last 20 years. Julie has 4 children and loves to spend time with them at all of their sporting events and activities. In her spare time she likes to travel, garden, and of course, shop!
Linda has been with Lakeshore Dental since 1999. Linda holds the titles of Business Assistant and Receptionist. She will help you with scheduling your appointments, insurance, billings, and estimating treatment and financial agreements. In her free time, Linda loves spending time with her twin grandbabies and family. She enjoys biking, walking, watching sports and traveling.
Sheila joined Lakeshore Dental in 2018 as a business assistant and has brought many years of front desk experience. Providing exceptional customer service has always been important to her. Sheila and her husband, Joe have three beautiful children and in her spare time she enjoys volleyball, walking, bow hunting and most important, spending time with her family and pets!
In 2021, Deanna made a career change and went from special education teacher to business manager of Lakeshore Dental. She is now taking care of the many responsibilities this new role encompasses and enjoying every minute. Outside of the office, her world revolves around her adult children, Erin and Ben, and granddaughter, Reese.
Jenna joined Lakeshore Dental in 2021 as a business assistant and has brought many years of business experience, customer service and accounts receivable to Lakeshore Dental. Jenna has two children and loves spending time with them at all of their sporting events. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and running Wicked Wings Game Farm and Lodge with her husband, Joe.
Lisa joined the Lakeshore Dental team in March 2022. She brings with her many years of customer service experience and can’t wait to meet all who come into Lakeshore Dental. Lisa and her husband, Dan, are proud parents of three adult children and a growing family of spouses and grandchildren. Lisa enjoys camping and reading, but most of all spending time with family and friends.
Kenai joined Lakeshore Dental in July of 2021 with Dr. Preston. He is a black Labrador Retriever. Kenai loves working at Lakeshore Dental and has worked here since he was a puppy. His duties include greeting all of our patients who want to pet him, especially little kids, sleeping in his mom’s office, and doing tricks for treats! When he is not hard at work, Kenai loves hiking with his mom and dad, playing fetch, and hunting for birds in the fall!
